Cary, NC – Loparex CEO Charmaine Riggins was one of 25 local leaders honored in the 2023 Triangle Business Journal Women in Business Awards winners. This annual awards program recognizes exemplary women in the Raleigh–Durham–Cary area, popularly known as the Research Triangle, who have proven to be dynamic and outstanding leaders. Each of the honorees has established a strong, positive relationship in business and in their community with a track record of significant accomplishments.

In addition to her extensive experience in technical, operations, sales and marketing, human resources, and general management roles, Riggins is passionate about children, education, and addressing the ever-widening opportunity gap. She holds three non-profit Board positions with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce, and the North Carolina Museum of Art.
The Triangle Business Journal has awarded top Women in Business leaders in the Research Triangle for 26 years. 2023 saw over 100 nominees in a variety of industries, including life sciences, finance, law, and health care. This year’s winners will be recognized at an awards luncheon on March 23, 2023.
