  5. CEO Charmaine Riggins: 2022...

Cary, NC – Loparex CEO Charmaine Riggins was among the dynamic leaders honored as Cary Magazine 2022 Women of Western Wake! This yearly feature introduces a handful of women who have all worked hard to reach their level of success and are given the opportunity to share their stories of advice on taking risks, finding rewards, and working hard to better our world.

In this exclusive, Charmaine looks back at her storied 27-year career and describes how she demonstrates her social responsibility not only in business but in her free time as well. The first in her family to graduate, she credits her accolades to her strong ecosystem of mentors, family and friends that motivated and stretched her abilities.

Riggins takes her social responsibility seriously and believes there is a gap when it comes to the hiring process. She started her career at Loparex putting that belief into practice by helping to jump-start the “‘hire to retire’ mentality rather than the traditional admin and tactical to personnel.”

Charmaine realizes the benefits of volunteering. Through her volunteer work with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Junior Achievement, she inspires youth and helps them achieve their full potential. “Yes, we can’t save the world, but you can do your part, and everyone else can do their part” she said.
