These adjustments are the first since February 2022 and reflect the significant price and surcharge inflation seen across the entirety of the value chain, including continuing increases in the cost of paper and a dramatic rise in energy costs for European manufacturers.
While close coordination with customers on alternative materials and processes has allowed Loparex to successfully offset a majority of inflationary effects over the course of 2022, current market conditions require further pricing actions to maintain supply reliability. The company’s dedicated regional teams remain proactive in working with partners worldwide to address supply constraints and volatile input costs wherever possible.
