- Increased Use of Renewable Energy: Loparex’s production site in Forchheim increased its renewable energy share from 2.7% in 2021 to 17.8% by the end of 2023.
- Expanded Global Compliance Program: A strengthened Compliance Program and an expanded whistleblower hotline were launched to reinforce Loparex’s commitment to integrity and transparency.
- FSC Certification: Loparex achieved FSC Chain of Custody certification for all its U.S. paper production sites, ensuring the sustainable sourcing of paper materials.
- Sustainable Product Development: The company’s Sustainable Product Development (SPD) program advanced projects focusing on silicone-free and solvent-free release systems, circularity, and the use of recycled materials.
- Improved Health and Safety Standards: With the global launch of the “Journey to Zero” initiative, Loparex made strides in occupational health and safety, successfully reducing workplace injuries and aligning global standards with ISO 45001.
- EcoVadis Evaluations: All Loparex production sites completed EcoVadis sustainability assessments, reflecting the company’s commitment to greater ESG transparency.
